KEVIN PRIVITT

Kevin Privitt received an associate degree in Dance in Queenslands University of Technology with a Distinction, plus receiving a post graduate degree in Pilates Method at UTS. Kevin has been a dancer with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra; Opening Ceremony Olympic Sports Congress; English National Ballet Company (where he was also an Actor in the Australian production of Romeo & Juliet); Queensland Opera Company and Queensland Ballet Company. Kevin has performed with Bondi Ballet in their NSW regional tour performing works by James Pitt & James Tailer. Kevin is also a member of Dance North in Townsville where he has performed many other works by many other choreographers. Kevin has performed with the Carnival Cruise Lines Productions and recently Kevin was acting and dancing in Graham Murphys “Mao’s Lat Dancer” feature film. Kevin is also a respected choreographer working on Dance Academy ABC and numerous Short & Sweet Festivals.

TROY LESTER

Troy Lester has been trained in many different styles of dance and his teaching resume encompasses just that. As well as experience throughout many competitions and eisteddfods Troy has performed in the Guild Theatre Company’s productions of Cinderella, South Pacific, Oklahoma; Troy has also performed with at Arcadians Theatre Group Productions, Roo Theatres Productions, St George Carols by Candlelight, ARL Grand Final, Foxtel’s Youthquake, Danceworld, Dynamics Downunder USA Dance Tour, Pacific School Games Opening Ceremony, Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening & Closing Ceremonies, McDonalds Christmas Spectacular, Troy was also a featured performer at Fox Studios Australia Grand Opening where he performed behind great Aussie artists such as Tina Arena, Marcia Hines and Kylie Minogue. Troy has taught at many schools including C&J Dynamics, Dapto High School, Triple T Dance Studio, St Mary’s Star of the Sea College, Dance Sensations, All That Jazz Dance Co and Elonera Montessori just to name a few. Troy also co owns KT Entertainment where he choreographs and performs in many Cabaret shows.

HEATHER RANSON
Heather in her young years has recieved her training from various well respected Ballet schools including Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy Sydney and the Housten Ballet Academy Texas. Heather also completed training with the Australian Ballet School and Australian Conservatoire of Ballet Winter School. As well as having trained in Housten, Heather was also recruited by the Housten Ballet Boutique as a staff member. Heather has performed with the Housten Ballet, Sydney City Youth Ballet and was also featured in the Robert Helpmann Awards. Heather has also recieved several awards from the Royal Academy of Dance and Ballet Australasia Limited. Heather is a talented young dancer and choerographer and we are happy to have her on our team here at J.O. Studios.
